Focus On Restorative Movement
Updated: Aug 13, 2019
Has pain limited your ability to be active and do the things you love?
That initial injury caused pain with movement and literally reprogrammed our brain to avoid ALL movement as a protective mechanism. In order to change this we have to start by finding movements that don't cause pain and then slowly build up as we retrain our brain that not every movement has to be painful.
How are you going to break the pain cycle? I'd love to hear which low impact activity you are going to commit to starting with to continue to move yourself down the path to healing.
This is just one component to breaking the pain spiral and starting on the path to recovery. In other videos I discuss the importance of sleep, diet, hydration, and stress management so be sure to check those videos out as well. If you need additional help to get your pain under control I invite you to schedule a Free Discovery Call and personally talk to me so I can help you figure out the next step in recovery.
*Always check with your doctor or physical therapist before starting a new exercise routine to make sure it is safe.
